Attorney
The candidate will provide legal services and advice in the practice areas of child abuse and neglect; real estate; personal injury; family law; immigration, labor; contract and administrative law. Will represent parents in child abuse and neglect cases at Superior Court of the District of Columbia; tenant association in transactions pursuant to the DC Tenant Opportunity to Purchase Act & in the process of conversion of apartment buildings into condos. Divorce settlement and custody proceedings; Represent union employees in wrongful discharge matters, including negotiations, settlements and arbitrations. Represent victims in PI matters. Appearances in US district courts in DC & occasionally in Virginia. Should have J.D., LL.M. degree or foreign equivalent. Bar admission in DC or VA required.
