Qualifications: Qualifications: A certificate of completion from an ABA-approved paralegal certification program of education and training, and/or an Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies is preferred. Personal injury experience is preferred. Experience with depositions, mediations, and hearings. Advanced proficiency with the use of technology, including, Microsoft Office Suite, cloud-based case management software, and computer-based legal research. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong listening and interpersonal skills. Applicable knowledge of motions, discovery, terminology, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules, and procedures. Ability to compile, review, classify, prioritize, analyze, and present data effectively.

Job Description:
Paralegal
Responsibilities: Assist attorneys with projects and client-related matters. Maintain clear lines of communication with clients, counsel, court, and others. Organize and maintain client files in the case management system. Prepare legal documents, including, pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda, ensuring exceptional spelling, grammar, format, and content. Conduct legal research and factual investigation. Analyze statutes, decisions, legal articles, codes, documents, and other relevant data to advance case preparation and determine causes of action. Coordinate and summarize depositions. File documents with the court. Assist attorneys with discovery documents, interrogatories, and responses. Maintain pleadings and discovery indexes. Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendices. Participate in calendar management, docketing, and preparation for depositions, mediations, and trials. Communicate with administrative team to ensure that correspondence, client education, and other literature are mailed to clients. Facilitate timekeeping, transcription, and scheduling. Assist with settlement preparation. Perform other duties as directed by the Managing Attorney to meet the ongoing needs of the firm.
