Excellent verbal, written, problem solving, and time management skills is a must. Successful applicant must be able to efficiently utilize problem solving and multitasking skills. Child support experience preferred. Time management is a must Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook and Odyssey; must have adequate typing skills and pass a math skills test during the interview process. General knowledge of the Child Support Guidelines is preferred. Works well with the public and maintain a professional attitude.

Job Description:
Solution Center Paralegal
Duties : Provide efficient and effective service to parents with child support related questions or concerns over the phone. Assist Deputy Prosecuting Attorneys and administrative staff in the establishment, modification and enforcement of child support orders by providing participants with information in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner over the phone. Liaison between Solution Center and other sections of the office. Have a voicemail extension where Solution Center reps can transfer unique or problems calls to for assistance. Handling "no call back" complaints (with limitations). Communicating with other sections to get questions answered and problems solved. Reviewing the case for other enforcement options. Contacting employers. Returning calls within 24 hours. Handling unique situations that may not require calls being transferred to the DPA or paralegal, such as calls from other counties and the clerk's office, etc. Handling calls with duplicates cases that have come to office notices; close out the case and send compliance letter if necessary. Work the NCP address/employer information sheet the reps turn in. Communicate with IWU to send IWO: IWUPOE2, Termination, and to request custom IWO as needed. Work the IWO responses. Answer multi - line telephone, assist parents by phone in a manner consistent with the office policies as well as Local, State and Federal Laws and regulations. Schedule appointments. Enter and update information in the computer system. Trigger Income Withholding notices and mail general correspondence when necessary. Provide general status updates to callers. Make notes in ISETS. Address caller's questions and concerns as thoroughly as possible without having the hard copy file. Direct phone calls to other staff when necessary. Must be able to meet daily, weekly and monthly goals. Back up to the 1800 line recording. Other duties as assigned.
