Thompson Dymond, Business Lawyers has an opportunity for a business lawyer who is interested in establishing their own private practice. We are a corporate law firm that specializes in business law. Our services also include both residential and commercial real estate, wills and estate planning. We are seeking an associate lawyer with 3 plus years’ experience in business (corporate/commercial) law who has an entrepreneurial spirit, is interested in growing their own practice and who would benefit from the support of experienced colleagues and the potential of referrals from a well-regarded law firm.

The ideal candidate will have considerable experience in a variety of private corporate and commercial matters, including: Incorporations and Corporate Governance; Reorganizations; Asset and Share Purchase Transactions; Financing; Experience with Partnerships, Limited Partnerships, Co-Tenancies and Joint Ventures.

The successful candidate will be client-service focussed, have a partial portable practice (which would integrate with or compliment our areas of expertise) and would be able to rent an office space in our shared space located in Richmond Hill (Covid-19 protocols strictly enforced).
