Skills: Macintosh proficient (MAC), MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), Clio billing software a plus, Fin Pan a plus. Advanced typing, proofing, writing, and communicating. Job Description:
Paralegal
Responsibilities: Conduct family law case file in-intake, analyze facts of the case, organize, calendar, and prepare files for attorneys review. Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents related to all family law matters. Scan, record and store client information (paperless office). Prepare Excel spreadsheets summarizing financial case data. Prepare files for Court for attorneys. Docketing. Streamline the paralegal processes and lead the attorneys. Keep attorneys on schedule with file deadlines, calendar, court dates, and mediation. Trial, Hearings and Mediation preparation in all respects, from file inception to conclusion. Drafting and finalizing disclosure statements. Drafting and completing all discovery. Answering phones and assisting clients. Filing court documents. Answering phones. Scanning and saving of all documents.
