Qualifications: Qualifications: (Original Entrance): A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university. 5+ years of professional experience in judicial or court administration. This experience must have included performing or overseeing: the creation of court calendars of activities, assigning judges to cases, accepting the filing of courting documents, overseeing file systems of cases and records of final judgements, and processing paperwork generated by judges. At least three (3) years of this experience must have been supervisory.

Note: A Juris Doctorate from an accredited college or university may be substituted for two (2) years of the required general experience. It may not be substituted for the supervisory experience.

(Original Entrance): A Juris Doctorate from an accredited college or university. 3+ years of full time experience as a licensed practicing attorney. Work must have included writing motions and briefs, filing motions, and providing advice regarding court/legal proceedings.

(Promotional): A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university. Permanent status as a Personnel Administrator, Assistant with the City of New Orleans and three (3) years of highly responsible professional and supervisory personnel experience in a central personnel agency with service-wide responsibilities.

Note: Professional experience is defined as experience gained in a position that required a Bachelor's degree upon entry.
