Job Description:

Scheer Law Group. LLP ("SLG") is an AV rated firm with offices in Marin and Orange County CA.  SLG represents secured creditors and property owners. We have a diverse and wide-ranging client base, from credit unions, banks and investors, to commerical landlords.  We have an excellent reputation and are well known in our industry.  We will place a qualified candidate in either our Marin  or Orange County office. 

Who we are looking for:  We are seeking an experienced litigator who can demonstrate the following experience:

   1.  Three or more years experience as follows in one or more of the following areas of law:

           A.  Experience handling eviction and landlord-tenant trilas from start through trial.

           B.  Experience handling lender/creditor defense cases from start through trial e.g. lender, creditor or broker liability claims;  and foreclosure defense cases. 

           C.  Experience handling  real estate and business litigation mattters from start to finish. 

2.    Knowledge and understanding of current state and federal laws governing evicitons and lender foreclousres e.g. changes to the CA HOBR, Non-judical foreclosures per Civ. Code §2924 et. seq, evictions purusant to CCP § 1161, would also be helpful. 

What we offer:  SLG offers a competative salary with an opportunity to become a non-equity partner over time. We offer competative benefits. We pay commissions on work brought to the Firm.  We make hourly requirments very managable for all our attorneys in order to allow a life outside the office. We work well together and support each other and are looking for like minded indivdiuals.

Pay: $130,000 to $160,000 a year to start.
