##### Law Firm Seeks Experienced Creditors' Rights Paralegal

Law firm Ward and Smith, P.A. is seeking an experienced Creditors' Rights Paralegal to join one of their offices in Greenville, Raleigh, New Bern, Wilmington, or Asheville, North Carolina. The successful candidate must have a minimum of two years' experience in handling all aspects of bankruptcy, as well as experience in the areas of civil litigation at the State and Federal levels.

**Job Responsibilities:**
- Monitor bankruptcy dockets and email notifications
- Draft legal documentation including pleadings in State and Federal Court, discovery, motions, notices, forbearance, and loan modification agreements
- File and serve State and Federal civil actions
- File and serve bankruptcy notices of appearance, proofs of claim, motions, objections, ballots, and any other case-related pleadings
- Schedule, calendar, docket, and prepare for hearings

**Qualifications:**
- At least two years' experience in handling all aspects of bankruptcy, as well as experience in the areas of civil litigation at the State and Federal levels
- Working knowledge of State and Federal court systems and the ability to understand and follow Local, State, and Federal Rules of court
- Excellent math, English, writing, and grammar skills
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Multi-task oriented, well organized, analytical, have excellent written and oral communication skills, have great attention to detail, and be able to function well in a fast-paced environment
