The candidate must have excellent academic credentials with 5-10 years experience in litigation defense. Trial experience is required. Effective writing and analytical skills and knowledge of the county, state, and federal courts and related rules of civil procedures are required. Experience in active participation in depositions, oral arguments, and courtroom experiences is needed. Strong attention to detail in all work, along with the ability to manage multiple files and to prioritize workloads to effectively meet all deadlines is a must. Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of management, staff, and clients are important. Must be forward-thinking, organized, and a team player. Should have the ability to independently solve problems and exercise sound judgment with minimal direction.
