## Legal Conflicts Review Analyst
Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz P.C. is currently looking for a Legal Conflicts Review Analyst to join their team. This position is open in Houston, Jackson, Memphis, Nashville, Birmingham, Baton Rouge, and New Orleans. The successful candidate should have administrative experience, excellent communication skills, be highly organized, and have strong computer skills. The ideal candidate should also be detail-oriented and able to work both independently and in a team setting.
### Job Responsibilities
* Review assigned requests routed to Analyst through Firm s New Business Intake (NBI) platform for accuracy and completeness
* Resolve any deficiencies or errors in the requests
* Review conflicts reports related to assigned requests
* Identify any possible matches between parties in new request and Firm files
* Determine whether any potential matches could present a conflict
* Communicate with attorneys to determine whether new matter may present any ethical or other conflicts
* Reassign matters for further review to conflict attorney for clearance when necessary
* Document all actions taken in the process in the NBI database
* Perform additional tasks related to operation of the Firm Conflicts Review Department as assigned by Conflicts Counsel
### Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
* Skills attributable to a paralegal or experienced, multi-area practice secretary
* Flexibility and the ability to work independently and follow instructions
* Law firm experience in opening files or clearing conflicts preferred
* Experience with the Firm's file opening/conflict system or a firm of similar size and breadth
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Detail oriented experience/abilities
* College degree preferred
